Winning the contest “Exporter of the Year – 2019”

LLC Agrotech won in the “Breakthrough of the Year” nomination. The company first entered the foreign market and signed export contracts with agricultural producers from Belarus in 2019.

On March 11, the platform of the business space named Business Geometry in Tambov held an award ceremony for the finalists of the regional contest “Exporter of the Year – 2019”.

The competition was held as a part of the national project “International Cooperation and Export”. It was organized by the Tambov Regional Export Support Center with the assistance of the administration of the region.

According to the acting deputy head of the Regional Administration Sergey Yukhachev, export is the most important vector for the development of the regional economy. Thanks to state support institutions, export opportunities of Tambov companies are expanding.

“The region actively participates in the implementation of national projects to support small and medium-sized businesses. The most important goal of the regional authorities today is to create growth points for SMEs and provide them with access to the international level”, – said Sergey Yukhachev.

The title “Exporter of the Year” is awarded to SMEs for high performance in export activity and successful positioning of their products and services abroad. The contestants were evaluated in five nominations.

Igor Sukharchenko, the head of the Business Coordination and Support Center, informed that the “Exporter of the Year” contest was held in the region for the second time. He said that it is intended to stimulate the foreign economic activity of Tambov enterprises, as well as to increase the prestige of export-oriented companies of the region in the foreign market.
